We are a platform, not the employer

HelloJobs.ca lists jobs from employers and other sources. We are not the employer, we do not make hiring decisions, and we are not a party to any employment contract. We work to keep listings real and fresh, but we cannot guarantee that every job is accurate or still open, or that you will get an interview or a job.

Job seekers

• Searching and applying is free and needs no account.
• Give employers true information about yourself.
• Report jobs that look fake or that ask you for money.
• Do not scrape the site or send automated applications.

Employers

• Post only real jobs you are hiring for, with accurate pay, location, hours and requirements.
• Follow the employment, human rights, pay-transparency and AI-disclosure laws of the province where the job is located and of Canada.
• Never ask candidates for money, banking details or identity documents before a written offer.
• Keep applicant data confidential and use it only for the hiring you posted.
• You are responsible for the content of your postings. We may edit, reject, hide or remove a posting at any time.

Prohibited conduct

• Fake, misleading or duplicate postings
• Fraud, phishing, identity theft or asking for payment
• Discrimination prohibited by law
• Harassment of candidates or employers
• Interfering with the site, scraping, or reselling our data
• Impersonating another person or business

Account suspension and termination

We can suspend or close any account and remove any content that breaks these terms or that we believe puts people at risk, with or without notice. Employers can close their account at any time by contacting us.

No guarantees, limited liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, HelloJobs.ca is not liable for losses that come from using the site, from a listing, or from dealings between candidates and employers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which HelloJobs.ca is established. Disputes go to the courts there.
